9:00 a.m. - Registration for the College of Engineering 50th Anniversary, Pinchback Engineering Building Atrium.
10:30 -11:30 a.m. - State of the College of Engineering Presentation to the Council of Visitors and alumni, High Tech Room.
11:30 a.m. –Luncheon, for the Council of Visitors, engineering's honored guests, and the college's faculty and students. It begins with remarks from alumni, students, faculty, and administrators.
2:00 p.m. – Unveiling the Rocket Engine Display. Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne has provided the college an RL 10A-4 mock-up engine on loan for display purposes in the P.B.S. Pinchback Engineering Building .
3:00 p.m. - Tours and special presentations will be offered throughout the college including: the CAVE demonstration, the college's computer facilities; the Advanced Materials, Communication and Networking, GIS, and the Environmental laboratories.
5:30 p.m. - Engineering Alumni Awards Dinner, Pinchback Engineering Building Atrium. The program will begin with remarks from the University Administrators and honored guests. It will be followed by recognizing the event's honorees: winners of the Young Alumni Award, Outstanding Engineering Alumni Award, Outstanding Industry Partner Award, and Outstanding Service Award

11:00 a.m. - Parents, alumni and friends of COE are invited to celebrate this commemorative year with the college's student organizations. Join the College of Engineering Tailgate Event prior to the Southern/ Texas Southern football game .
6:30 p.m. - Southern/ Texas Southern football game
