Preparing for the PERFECT INTERVIEW

Perfect Interview™ is an innovative learning tool that you can use to enhance your job interviewing skills and develop an edge over the  competition.  Perfect Interview™ creates a compelling and realistic "simulated interview" experience where you are asked challenging questions and must respond, just as you would in a real job interview. 

Accessing Perfect Interview On-Line:

Log on to http://www.perfectinterview.com/subr . You will have the option to log on or create an account. If this is your first time accessing Perfect Interview, you will have to create an account by clicking the Create Account button.

When creating your perfect interview on-line account, you must enter your first and last name and an email address.

  • *You must provide a VALID EMAIL ADDRESS  in order to create your account.  If you are using SPAM BLOCKING software, be sure to set it to accept emails from "support@perfectinterview.com"  BEFORE you complete the form.
  • After you enter in your information, read the Terms and Conditions. After reading, check the box that says “I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions”.
  • *You will not be able to continue until you indicate that you have read and agree to the terms of the site.
  • Once you entered you information and check the appropriate boxes, click Create My Account. You will then be directed to a page that says that your Perfect Interview On-Line Account has been created.
  • *A confirming email will be sent to the email address you provided.  You must follow the directions included in the email to access Perfect Interview™ On-Line. 
  • The email will give you your User ID (which is your email address) and your password. You will have the option of changing your password once you log on by clicking on My Account and Change Password.
  • To access Perfect Interview On-Line, go to http://www.perfectinterview.com/subr and click on the Log On button. Enter your User ID and Password at the prompts.
  • * If you forget you password, once you click Log On scroll down to ‘Have you forgotten your password? and Click here for help'.

You can also access Perfect Interview On-Line by clicking on the link Log On to Perfect Interview On-Line which is located in the upper right corner of the Perfect Interview homepage at http://www.perfectinterview.com .

Note: If you created a user profile on the "PERFECT INTERVIEW" Desktop located in Career Services, you must create a new account if you want to access Perfect Interview On-Line.

After you log on, read the instructions for using Perfect Interview On-Line and click Continue . Once you continue, you will be prompted to select your level of Work Experience and the type of position that you are seeking.  The selections you make here will determine what kind of interview questions you'll see. Then, select the length of interview and the categories of questions you'd like to see.   You can let Perfect Interview select the categories at random (the default) or you can pick specific areas of concentration. Then, indicate if you wish to use the Video Capture Option for this interview.  ( The Video Capture option allows you to record and playback your responses to the interview questions with a Webcam.  This option requires a compatible USB Webcam and software.) You can also select your bandwidth preference. Your bandwidth depends on your connection speed, whether it is Cable, DSL, or Dial-Up. You will then have the opportunity to view your choices and change any errors. If everything is correct, select Start Interview and begin.
