Academic Advising –
Upon being accepted to the University, all
students are assigned academic advisors. These
advisors are full-time faculty or professional
staff members. They are well-versed in
University policies and are responsible for
assisting students in making decisions related
to their educational pursuits.
A student who has been admitted will receive a
letter indicating his or her acceptance. This
letter will contain information about
registration and academic advising. The
student's academic advisor will be identified in
this letter.
