Auction for Heart Association

Miss SU to be part of celebrity auction to benefit Heart Association

BATON ROUGE, La. - Miss Southern University  Chisolu Isiadinso  will be part of the Miss Louisiana USA Celebrity Date Auction to benefit the Baton Rouge American Heart Association. The event will be the first Miss Black Louisiana USA National Wear Red Day/Celebrity Auction.

Activities begin at 8 p.m., Feb. 2, at 600 Main Street. The auction starts at 9 p.m. There is a $10 participation fee.

The proceeds from the event will also help sponsor Ashley Hebert, Miss Black Louisiana USA 2012 in her competition in the national Miss Black USA pageant.

"Raising funds to benefit the Baton Rouge American Heart Association is something I am always ready to support, " Isiadinso said. "I hope the community will turn out for the event."

Some of the other "auctionees" include: State Representative Vincent "Vince" Pierre; New Orleans  bodybuilder and fitness guru, Kodi Davis; Max 94.1 On-Air personality DJ Ya Boy Earl; San Diego Charges receiver Demetrius Byrd; and U4ria lead singer Arianne "The Creole Cutie."

Patrons are asked to wear red for the event.
