CALL FOR PROPOSALS

7TH ANNUAL HBCU COUNSELING CENTER CONFERENCE

WOMEN AND WELLNESS: THE IMPORTANCE OF IT ALL

November 8, 9, and 10, 2012 -- Bell of Baton Rouge Hotel and Casino, Baton Rouge, LA.

 

PROPOSALS MUST BE RECIEVED BY FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2012

 

 

HBCU Committee invites you to submit a proposal for an educational program for presentation at the 2012 HBCU CC conference. Whether you are a clinician, administrator, policy maker, manager, researcher, etc. your proposal is welcomed. Your work in the field is vital to our professional growth.

Content Areas of Presentation:

Proposals are invited in the following areas: Spirituality, Ethics, Physical Health, Career Directions, Student Self Care, TCH, Alcohol and Student Use, Co-occuring disorders in women, Mental health e.g. depression, anxiety, stress, Dual roles, Oppression, Trauma, Rape Crisis Counseling, Eating Disorders, LGBTQ Issues, Student Retention, Aspiring Leaders and Wellness, Juggling and Maintaining Positive Health, and other Counseling Center Business.

Presentation Formats:

Workshops will be 60 minutes including questions and discussion. No breaks.

Guidelines for submission:

Proposals must be typed and submitted using the specified format. Complete one completed copy of the proposal to the email address provided. Incomplete applications or those incorrectly completed will be returned.

Deadline for Submission: Proposals must be received by October 12, 2012. Proposals may be mailed to:
