Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD)

Licensing and Credentialing

  • Over the past five years, the DPD program has had 9 students take the R.D. exam with 2 passing on the first attempt. (22% first time pass rate) and a one year pass rate of 22%.
  • Over the past five years, the Dietetic Intern program has had 40 students take the R.D. exam with 27 passing on the first attempt. (68% first time pass rate) and a one year pass rate of 76%
  • The department has an overall pass rate of 49% on licensing exams.
  • The program's accreditation status with the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics is probationary.
