Foluso Ayeni, is currently a PhD candidate in Science & Mathematics Education program with a concentration in Educational/Instructional Technologies at Southern University and A &M College Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA. He is the Current Coordinator of Research and Administration at Southern University’s International Center for Information Technology and Development (ICITD) and also Co-Director
of International Linkages and Collaboration with the ICT University Foundation USA (a volunteer position). He holds a Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems (4.12/5 & 4.71/5 respectively) from Covenant University Nigeria. He is the Co-Founder of Community Development and Leadership Forum (CODELF) which aims at educating youths. He has also participated in several volunteering activities focused on educating young children and teenagers. He has about 5 years of Higher Education teaching experience both in Nigeria and USA. In 2014, he won a Research/Internship Grant from the Association of African Universities targeted towards Minority Development. With excellent communication, time management, writing and creativity skills, his research area includes Professional Development, Instructional Designs, Educational Technologies, Cybersecurity Education, Knowledge Management, Improving Education and Healthcare in Sub-Saharan Africa, Public Health Informatics, Operations Research, Business Intelligence and Big Data Technology. Foluso Ayeni currently serves as a Co-Principal Investigator for several Grant writing activity at Southern University ICITD, USA and ICT University Foundation USA. He was actively involved in piloting and completion of several developmental projects in Sub-Saharan Africa such as the Louisiana Board of Regents: Implementing an Artifact and Theorizing E-Democracy and Citizen Participation in Sub-Saharan Africa amongst others. He is an Alumnus of the World Bank Youth Summit 2016 and 2017. He has attended several international conferences and published in reputable peer-reviewed journals. Some of his research work has been published in the International Journal of Computing and Informatics, IEEE XPlore Digital Library, Science Journal of Public Health, American Journal of Applied Mathematics, Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science while others are under review in reputable peer-reviewed journals. He is an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), American Educational Research Association(AERA), Louisiana Academy of Sciences (LAS) and National Center for Science Education (NCSE). He is currently working on the Design and Implementation of a Blended Learning System for Cybersecurity Training and Education among Minorities in the USA.
