Title: Fellowships for Historical Research of Science and Technology in East Asia
Brief Description: The D. Kim Foundation for the History of Science and Technology in East Asia in Lexington, Massachusetts, provides fellowships and grants to support graduate students and young scholars working in the area of the history of science and technology in East Asia from the beginning of the 20th century. Comparative studies of East Asia and the West as well as studies in related fields (mathematics, medicine, and public health) are also welcome. The foundation offers post-doctoral and dissertation fellowships as well as grants for travel/research and for group projects.
Agency Deadlines: The deadline for the receipt of fellowship applications is December 15, 2013. Successful recipients will be notified by e-mail in late-January. The fellowship term is September 1, 2014, through August 31, 2014, but can be adjusted with permission from the foundation.
