School of Nursing Graduate Programs
The graduate nursing program welcomes you to consider applying for a superb nursing education at the Masters or doctoral level. We believe that caring is the essence of nursing and our master's and doctoral programs have been designed with care and excellence by award winning expert faculty who are recognized nationally for their contributions to nursing education. SUBR School of Nursing graduate programs have a proud heritage of educating the best nurses for leadership and building a strong diverse nursing workforce to advance the nation's health. Our faculty and students provide clinical interventions and leadership in research, education, and clinical practice across the region. Masters of Science in Nursing degrees are offered for the roles of nursing education, administration, and nurse practitioner. The MSN degree prepares future family nurse practitioners and nurse educators to become certified for excellence in their practice across diverse settings. The PhD doctor of Philosophy degree in nursing is offered with a focus on scientific research related to vulnerable populations. The DNP Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree prepares nurse practitioners to lead and transform health care systems for better patient outcomes. The MSN degree prepares future family nurse practitioners and nurse educators to become certified for excellence in their practice in diverse settings.
