Introduction
The online curriculum consisting of a minimum of 48 semester hours will require 2.5 years of part-time study including summers. The required competencies will be achieved through a combination of didactic, simulated, and clinical experiences fostering both experiential and transformative learning. The program was developed consistent with recognized standards for distance education (Institute for Higher Education, 2000).
The next training cohort will begin in the Summer of 2007 and is projected to complete the Master ’ s Program in the Summer of 2009. Most students will enroll for two graduate courses each semester, including the summer sessions.
