Fathers-N-Families

Fathers-N-Families was a free program providing parenting skills and job training to low-income, non-custodial fathers who needed to reconnect with their families.

Fathers-N-Families Project Objectives were to:

enroll low-income non-custodial fathers and their families in a comprehensive family involvement program;

provide multi-pronged training in basic skills education, life skills, critical thinking and decision-making, job readiness training, and parenting skills development, responsible fatherhood training, co-parenting skills and peer-to-peer skill development ;

implement an environmental remediation technical skills training leading to certification in Hazmat, Mold Remediation and Construction;

provide father participants assistance with job identification, searching and placement referrals; and
