Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) was dealt a devastating blow to our

facilities and infrastructure by Hurricane Katrina. However, this catastrophe has

deepened our resolve to build our university while doing our part to ensure quality

educational opportunities to our community.

To that end, on behalf of SUNO, I will reiterate our commitment to continue to make

space and resources available to the Educational Talent Search Program while we rebuild

the university.
