Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services

The Rehabilitation Services program in the Department of Rehabilitation & Disability Studies is designed to provide students with a broad knowledge of the rehabilitation field at the baccalaureate level. The program of study prepares students for entry level positions in rehabilitation agencies, community rehabilitation programs, state and local government, insurance and risk management offices, independent living programs, education, other human services fields, and proprietary rehabilitation positions.

All activities of the department are student centered. Besides, academic excellence, the students are involved in social and community service activities through Southern University Students Rehabilitation Association (SUSRA) and Sigma Upsilon Chi Chapter of the Chi Sigma Iota, Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International.
