The mission of the Louisiana Center for Prevention Resources (LCPR) is to serve as a statewide clearinghouse for training, education, advocacy, and technical assistance to prevent or reduce problems resulting from alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use by working collaboratively at the state, regional and community levels.

ABOUT

The Louisiana Center for Prevention Resources (LCPR) was established at the Nelson Mandela College of Government and Social Sciences, Department of Psychology at Southern University. The Center offers training and technical assistance services to healthcare and substance abuse prevention professionals. These services will be available to youth, communities, and healthcare professionals, especially those who provide substance abuse prevention services.
