Accuplacer Testing
Accuplacer is a placement exam used by Southern University and A&M College (SUBR) for students who do not have ACT or SAT scores. It determines appropriate placement in Math and English courses.
Important Testing Details
- Eligibility: For students without ACT/SAT scores
- Testing Type: In-person only (no online testing available)
- Cost: $25 (non-refundable)
- Testing Location: Tutoring Center – John B. Cade Library, 4th Floor
- Retake Policy: Students may take the Accuplacer exam only once.
Note: You must use your "sus" email address to register.
Testing Schedule
Available Days:
- Monday – Thursday
Available Times:
- Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Please allow up to 36 business hours after submitting your registration form for processing.
Registration Process
To register for the Accuplacer exam:
- Click the "Register Here" button below.
- Complete the form using your "sus" email address.
- Be sure to select "Sign Out" in the top right-hand corner to process your payment in full.
- IMPORTANT: Completing payment on the Dynamic Form does not secure an official testing appointment.
Next Step: After submitting your registration and payment, you must speak directly with a staff member from the Center for Student Success to confirm your official testing date and time.
