The 2025 Homecoming Celebration at Southern University is scheduled for Sunday, October 12, 2025, through Saturday, October 18, 2024. You are invited to participate in the

COMMUNITY & RESIDENTIAL DECORATION CONTEST.

The Southern University Jaguars will host Prairie View A&M University for the 2025 Homecoming Football Game in A.W. Mumford Stadium on Saturday, October 18, at 6:00 P.M.

The colors for the Jaguars is Columbia Blue and Gold. The colors for the Prairie View are Purple and Gold.

Theme:
Jaguar for Life

All decorations will be judged on the following: the slogan, theme, color scheme, originality and creativity. Awards will be given for first, second and third place winners. Displays will be judged on Monday, October 13, 2025, beginning at 2:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. Winners will be announced at the Homecoming Game on Saturday, October 18, 2025. The deadline for submittal of an application is Friday, OCTOBER 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
