FASFA application verification
FASFA Application Selected for Verification
If your 2012-2013 FAFSA record is selected for a process called verification and you and your parents (if dependent) were eligible to file a 2011 federal tax return, you will be required to:
- Use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to update your and/or your parent's or spouse's income information;
OR
- You and/or your parents or spouse may request a 2011 Tax Transcript from the IRS to submit to the Financial Aid Office to verify your income information.
The Financial Aid Office will forward an email notification to your SUBR Email account instructing you to review your Unsatisfied Requirements on Banner Student Self Service and forward all requested information to the Financial Aid Office without delay. You may provide our office with the requested information in person or by fax to (225) 771-5898.
