Welcome to the Writing Den
NOTE: The Writing Den will be closed for the remainder of the Fall 2025 semester. We will reopen in the Spring of 2026.
The Writing Den is a wonderful space designed to meet the needs of SENL 101B & 102B Freshman writers. We provide our tutoring services as part of the English department’s efforts to expand and promote the importance of writing. Our space is conveniently located in Harris Hall on the second floor, right around the corner from our English classrooms. Tutors are professional, polite, and personable. If you are enrolled in Freshman Composition and ever need some advice from a tutor, please make an appointment. We would be happy to help. Virtual and in-person appointments are available.
