Rahman headed to Baker Hughes Oilfield for the summer
Southern University graduate student, Mohammad Rahman will spend the summer interning with Baker Hughes Oilfield Service Company, in Houston starting in June.
The computer science major, a native of Bangladesh, will spend 10 weeks working with top oil companies.
Baker Hughes is an oilfield service that delivers solutions to help oil and gas operators make the most of their reservoirs. The geomarket team works side by side with customers to engineer reliable application-specific products and services that create more value from the reservoir.
Rahman, who graduates in the fall, says he was able to land his first internship after attending Southern’s Career Fair in February.
