The accolades continue for the ‘Jukebox,’ HBCU Band of the Year

Congratulations to Director of Bands Lawrence Jackson and the Southern University Marching Band on being named the "2012 HBCU Band of the Year" by the HBCU Center for Media Advocacy in Baltimore, Md.

The award was presented April 20 at the 2012 HBCU Awards in Baltimore.

Other bands nominated, included the Florida A&M University Marching “100,” the North Carolina A&T Blue and Gold Marching Machine and the Virginia State Trojan Explosion.
