Southern University’s Creative Arts Society heads to Houston
Southern University’s Creative Arts Society – a campus student art organization – will be in Houston Texas to view major works by prominent African-American artists and other important works of art.
The two major artists they will see are Henry O. Tanner and John Biggers, who are the most influential African-American artists of the 19th and 20th centuries, respectively.
SU’s Visual Arts Professor and Gallery Directory Robert Cox is heading the student group’s visit this week.
