Community Service

Each year the TRIO Upward Bound Programs at Southern University participate in various community support initiatives, such as the annual American Heart Association Fundraising Drive and the East Baton Rouge Parish Library Sock it to Me Drive.

 

In an effort to continue a dedication of community service, the TRIO Upward Bound Programs at Southern University joined this year’s sock donation campaign. With the generosity of TRIO participants, parents, community partners, and TRIO graduates, the Upward Bound Programs at Southern University were able to collect and donate 1600 pairs of brand-new socks and give them to the Scotlandville Branch Library on December 15, 2022.
