SU prof delivers main address at international conference

 

Southern University Computer Science Professor Dr. Nigel Gwee delivered the keynote address at the 4th International Software Engineering and Applications Conference, held at Phuket, Thailand.

The Oct. 28-29 conference was organized by the Global Science and Technology Forum (GSTF).

Dr. Gwee's keynote address was titled "Computer Science and the Liberal Arts: The Scientific Connection."

During the conference, Dr. Gwee also joined professors from several countries in a panel discussion on the Online Teaching of Computer Science.

Gwee was also the Editor-in-Chief of the publications of this conference.

GSTF promotes research and development and offers an inter-disciplinary intellectual platform for top-notch scientists, researchers, academics and industry professionals in Asia Pacific. There are nearly 1000 academics from leading schools, including the University of California-Berkeley, UCLA, Carnegie Mellon University, Oxford University, Cambridge University and Purdue University involved in the various committees program committee/editorial board of GSTF.
