SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY OFFICE

The Systems and Technology Office is responsible for developing, acquiring and maintaining automated resources. The purpose of this office is: (1) to provide technology that will assist the University in meeting the research and informational needs; (2) to train students, faculty, and staff in using the automated resources of the library; (3) to coordinate, plan, fully implement and maintain the Management System; and (4) to keep abreast of new technology that can be used to improve services offered by the Library.

 

ITC

The Information Technology Center (ITC) has 2 plasma Tv's, 2 group study rooms and over 30 computers.

LLRC

The Library Learning Resource Center (LLRC) has over 50 computers and 1 Scan Stations available for use.

The Training Center is a fully equipped modern facility designed for training, interactive workshops, testing product demonstrations, and much more. The Training Center can be used as a stand alone or part of a larger conference and/or workshop.

 

Classrooms are available for presentations, meetings, conferences, workshops and more.

Classrooms 1 & 2 located on the second floor, has a video and digital projector which are excellent for presentations, lectures, testing and much more. Classrooms 1 & 2 have a seating capacity of 100.

Classrooms 3 are located on the 2nd floor across from the Training Center. It has a seating capacity of 25. A perfect location for presentations and lectures. Classrooms 3 can be equiped with a TV and VCR/DVD upon request.

Classrooms A & B are located on the 3rd floor next to Music Listening. Each classroom has a seating capacity of 35. A perfect location for presentations and lectures. Classrooms A & B can be equiped with a TV and VCR/DVD upon request.
