World Languages Requirements
Placement Test (French100, French 101, Spanish 100, Spanish 101) for Spring 2016
Students with two or more years of high school credit and native speakers should consult the World Language chairperson prior to registration for classes they would like to exempt. Native speakers cannot receive credit for 100/101 level courses.
General Education Students
If a student requires six or more hours of language, these hours must be taken in the same language, otherwise the student will not receive degree credit for those world language courses (exceptions: Arabic 100/101, Chinese 100/101, German 100/101, Portuguese 100/101, Wolof 100/101). The student must make an appointment with the chair for information related to exceptions.
