Biography
Laurence Hebert, a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana received his Master’s degree in Collaborative Piano from Louisiana State University in 2010. Laurence is Collaborator-in-Residence at Southern University, accompanying students, faculty, guest artists and the Southern University Concert Choir. In addition to collaborating, Laurence teaches piano, ear training and music theory at Southern and is the Faculty Advisor for the Beta Zeta Chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon International Music Fraternity. Finally, Laurence serves on the LSU faculty as the director of the LSU Gospel Choir and is the Co-Director of Music at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church here in Baton Rouge.
