Thank you for your interest in recruiting students at Southern University. There are many options available to you for recruiting Southern students, from participating in our Career Fairs to hosting information session to interviewing on -campus. You may also post a job or internship opportunity with us for distribution to students, even if you are unable to come to campus to recruit.
The Southern University Career Center uses CSO Research/Interfase for all online recruitment activity including on-campus recruitment, job postings and presentation advertising.
We offer three options for scheduling interviews on-campus interviews: preselect; open and room only.
The Preselect schedule allows recruiters to review submitted resumes prior to the campus visit and select candidates to be interviewed. Students and alumni who are preselected will then have the opportunity to sign up first for an interview time. If alternates are chosen, they then have the opportunity to sign up for interview times.
The Open schedule allows SU students and alumni who are registered with Career Services and meet the organization's requirements to sign up for interviews on a first-come, first-serve basis.
If you choose a room-only schedule format, you will select your interview candidates form an available source, such as resumes collected at Career Fair, resume drops, job postings or resumes referrals. A room only allows you to contact students directly and schedule interviews yourself after reserving your interview date with our office. Students and alumni on your schedule must be registered with Career Services. Students from other universities are not allowed to interview at our facility.
