The Department of Mass Communication at Southern University ranks amongst the top 10 largest enrollments on campus with a current total of approximately 205 undergraduate students. Within the last two decades, the department graduated over 800 students with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in broadcast journalism, print journalism or public relations.
