Public Disclosure of Student Achievement
Public Disclosure of Student Achievement
The mission of Southern University and A&M College, an Historically Black, 1890 land-grant institution, is to provide opportunities for a diverse student population to achieve a high-quality, global educational experience, to engage in scholarly, research, and creative activities, and to give meaningful public service to the community, the state, the nation, and the world so that Southern University graduates are competent, informed, and productive citizens.
In keeping with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) policy, Institutional Obligations for Public Disclosure, enacted June 2014, Southern University and A&M College is committed to provide information to the public that is complete, accurate, timely, accessible, clear and sufficient. A Council on Higher Education Accreditation standard further requires that SACSCOC accredited institutions publish statements of its goals for student achievement and the success of students in achieving those goals. For additional statistical data about SUBR, see the Office of Planning, Assessment and Institutional Research web page (http://www.subr.edu/PAIR).
