On behalf of the University College (UC), I am excited to have you join the Jaguar Nation! 

 

Your first Southern experience starts at New Student Orientation and continues through First & Second-Year programming coupled with robust Student Success initiatives and programs. The University College is a direct report to the Office of Academic Affairs and other campus departments to guide you through your Pinning Ceremony, advising, summer enrichment and  so much more. Today, our students enjoy a challenging and nurturing learning community from which they develop into competitive leaders of tomorrow. The ultimate goal of our champion faculty, staff, administrators and student leaders are to welcome you to the family, supply you with the formula to success, and promote engagement and persistence.

Southern University and A&M College (SUBR)  is an institution engulfed with talented, professional, and knowledgeable stakeholders that are eager to assist and go above and beyond for all students. Again, we are excited that you joined the coveted ranks of those who have assisted and currently assisting in shaping our community, state, nation, and world. Note that you have the opportunity to become university ambassadors, mentors, student leaders and so much more. Despite the unique circumstances, we are thrilled to have you with us on campus and in the classroom. Again, through our efforts, we pledge to provide an exceptional learning experience to all students in hopes to maximize their academic success at Southern University and A&M College and beyond.
