University College College Success Skills Course
The College Success Skills course at Southern University and A&M College introduce first time freshman into our academic community and engage them in the process of scholarly inquiry. This course is a required, two-credit course for first year students. College Success Skills and other first year experience initiatives exist to implement a successful transition for first-year students at Southern University and Agricultural &Mechanical College. Furthermore, this class establishes the foundation for gaining knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for academic success on The Bluff and beyond. This course meets twice a week for 50 minutes and includes a mandatory study hall. All College Success Skills courses are located on the 3rd Floor of W.W. Stewart Hall.
