Southern University Centennial Commemorative Book
Complete your observance of Southern University's Centennial Year by purchasing the just-completed Southern University Centennial Commemorative Book. The book will debut and go on sale prior to the start of the Fall 2014 Commencement Exercises scheduled for Friday, December 12, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the F.G. Clark Activity Center. There will be two sales locations on the 2nd floor concourse of the Activity Center.
The book is a timeline account of Southern University's move from New Orleans to Baton Rouge, detailing some of the signature persons and events that have shaped this University. Photographs from some of the key events held during the Centennial Year are included. The cost of the book is $20 and the proceeds from the sales will be placed in the Chancellor's Student Need-Based Scholarship Fund. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
