Community Back-to-School Expo to be held in F.G. Clark Activity Center on July 29

In an effort to continue community engagement and assistance, Southern University is hosting a Back to School Expo on Saturday, July 29 in the F.G. Clark Activity Center on campus. 

Sponsored by District 63 State Representative and Southern University dean Barbara Carpenter, the expo will include free school supplies, food and fun activities for school-aged children and youth. Doors open at 10 a.m. and the event ends at 2 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Partners include State Sen. Regina Ashford Barrow, Public Service Commissioner Davante Lewis, Coca-Cola, BREC, ExxonMobil, the Louisiana Department of Health, Baton Rouge Airport and others.
