Southern University celebrates Homecoming activities Oct. 12-18

Southern University and A&M College welcomes all students, alumni, community members and supporters to its annual Homecoming festivities on Sunday, Oct. 12 through Saturday, Oct. 18. Themed, “Jaguars for Life,” activities include a variety of events for all ages as the Southern Jaguars prepare for the big game against the Prairie View Panthers in A.W. Mumford Stadium.

Homecoming week kicks off with the parade on Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Scotlandville community.  Immediately following is a family fun day on campus that will feature local vendors, live entertainment and more. The week continues with several events, including the annual ecumenical service, Miss Southern's coronation, Greek Show, alumni mixers and more.
