SU Give Day raises more than $7M for campuses

Updated September 30, 2021:

SU Give Day continued to exceed previous years’ records by raising $7.12 million for Southern University System institutions. The annual initiative by the Southern University System Foundation is the final appeal of the Foundation’s Million Dollar March. In 2020, Give Day yielded more $5 million. The steady increase of the Million Dollar March, a 90-day campaign, yielded $12.5 million in 2020. Funds benefit student scholarships, faculty grants, programs and more.

The Southern University System is the only the system of Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the nation. Member institutions are Southern University and A&M College (Baton Rouge), Southern University at New Orleans, Southern University Shreveport, Southern University Law Center, and Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center. Southern University Laboratory School, the System’s K-12 school, also benefits from the Southern University System Foundation.

Supporters can designate a gift to campuses and programs year-round by going to foundation.sus.edu or by calling 225-771-3911.
