Librarian Liaisons

 

Each department and/or subject area listed below has a library faculty liaison. Contact your liaison to have your questions about library services answered and to arrange for specialized instruction for classes. Liaisons also welcome your suggestions for items to add to the collection. Librarian Liaisons are available to:

  • Meet with the Department Chair and /or faculty to inform them of resources and services in the Library in their specific discipline. 
  • Maintain a list of all faculty within their assigned departments who have authored or co-authored books. 
  • Periodically review the Library's holdings with the department representative. 
  • Assist with library related research needs. 
  • Provide hands on experience in using LOUIS, electronic databases, and the INTERNET. 
  • Conduct tours and/or workshops. 
  • Respond to e-mail reference questions. 
  • Provide instruction on the use of the electronic classroom and distance education.
