What is Clean Access
What is Clean Access?
Clean Access (CA) is a network authentication system that certifies every user who tries to log onto the network. It is based upon your Southern University username and password. The Clean Access system requires residential and wireless users running Windows or Macintosh computers to meet security requirements - an updated operating system and current anti-virus software - to keep the university's network safe and secure for all users, university services and network devices that are connected to the network.
How does Clean Access work?
CA interacts with users in a different manner depending upon their current operating system. To view the Login Procedure for your operating system, go to Requirements for your operating system.
Windows users can download the Clean Access Agent in advance HERE. Here is a brief summary of CA operations for the major operating systems: For more information on the SUBR Wireless Network, visit www.subr.edu/tns/wirelessweb
