Question: What is the password criteria? 
Answer: Passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters and must include one lowercase, one uppercase and one number or special character. Passwords expire every 30 days.  


Question:
Is the username and password the same for email as for wifi? 
Answer: You must log into wifi using the same login credentials as for email. Your password expires every 30 days.


Question: What can I do to get into my account if I forgot my password?

nswer: Register for and log into Password Station at ps.subr.edu or contact the Helpdesk at 771.HELP for assistance. We will be able to reset your password for you. 


Question: Is there any way for you to see what my password is? 
Answer: No. The system does not show the password. 


Question: Why do I have to use clean access to get to the internet? 
Answer: Clean Access is needed to make sure that you don't bring a virus into the system accidently infecting the entire network.  In order for Clean Access to be loaded on your computer, you must have the latest service pack and a working Anti-Virus program.

Can I forward my SUBR email to my yahoo account? If so, how? 
Answer: Log into webmail. Click on Rules. Click New at the top and fill out the form that comes up. in the last spot you can tell it where you would like your SUBR email to be forwarded to. 


Question: How do I get SUBR email on my iPhone or Android phone? 
Answer: Contact the Helpdesk at 771.HELP and we will walk you thru the process. 


Question: I can't log into Banner because my account is locked out. Who can help me with that?

nswer: Contact the Registrar's office with issues pertaining to a locked out Banner account or if you have lost your pin and your security questions are not setup. 

Question: My mailbox says it's closed. What does this mean and how do I fix this? 
Answer: This means that you have reached the size limit for your mailbox. You must delete all of your sent items as well as your deleted items. To do this permanently, click on the top item you wish to delete, hold down the Shift key and click on the last item you wish to delete. This will highlight everything between the first and the last items. Hold down the shift key and press the delete button. You will get a prompt asking you if you are sure you want to PERMANENTLY delete these items. If this is what you want to do, press yes. Remember: this will PERMANENTLY delete those items and there is no way to recover them. 


Question: Can I get a copy of Windows or Office products for my personal use? 
Answer: Due to licensing restrictions, we are not able to furnish copies of this software that the University is licensed to use.
