Engaging New Faculty for Contracts
CEES engages faculty across the university's five campuses.  This outreach program is an effort to engage, energize, and expose, faculty researchers to contracting opportunities within the Center. In the past, CEES has engaged faculty and students to participate in research, training, summer fellowships, intern and coops from various disciplines throughout the campus.  This collaboration also opens the door for faculty who are seeking assistance with program management of current projects practically as it relates to governmental contracting services.

Benefits of becoming a CEES Affiliate:

  • Promotes compensation for faculty with required expertise
  • Provides substantial revenue for the university

6 simple steps to become a CEES Affiliate:

  1. Faculty completes CEES Affiliation form
  2. Submit current electronic vitae (area of specialization / expertise)
  3. Assist team in response to request for proposal/ solicitation for scope of services
  4. Faculty serves as Project Manager for area of interest
  5. Faculty consultation services with CEES includes costs, availability, period of performance, travel, materials and supplies, equipment, student engagement
  6. CEES manages the entire process from the prime contractor to  the university
