Welcome to the Southern University Veteran Affairs Office. Our office prides itself on ensuring quality and expedient service to our veterans and veteran-dependent student population. We are dedicated to providing exceptional services within a veteran-friendly atmosphere.

SUBR Veteran Affairs Office is here for you. Our office is responsible for certifying enrollment to receive VA education funding, VA education benefit counseling, assistance with applying for VA education benefits and providing information and assistance concerning all things relative to VA education funding.

The Veteran Affairs office, located within the Office of the Registrar in T.H. Harris Hall, is operating remotely due to COVID-19 mandates. Remote office hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

We strive to provide excellent customer service, and we welcome your comments, inquiries and suggestions.
