Channing Evans, a senior nursing student from Slidell, was recently chosen to be part of the nationwide Toyota Go Green Initiative Ambassador Program.

Hill, the associate professor and chair of the Southern’s School of Nursing and Allied Health’s Undergraduate Nursing Program, was inducted into the honored group in recent ceremonies at the 14th annual Louisiana Nurses Foundation Nightingale Awards and Gala.
