Rachel Vincent-Finley, an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science, has been awarded a national 2012 Career Enhancement Fellowship for Junior Faculty. The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation funds the fellowship.
National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

As Baton Rouge finds itself number 1 in the nation for number of new diagnoses of HIV cases, Southern University will be observing National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day on Wednesday, March 28, with an HIV/AIDS Prevention program from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Smith-Brown Memorial Union.
