Stewardship Science Graduate Fellowship - The Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration(DOE NNSA SSGF)program provides outstanding benefits and opportunities to students pursuing a Ph.D. in the areas of high density physics, nuclear science, and properties of materials under extreme conditions and hydrodynamics. The fellowship includes a 12-week research experience at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Los Alamos National Laboratory, or Sandia National Laboratories. Participants will receive a $36,000 yearly stipend, full tuition and fee payment, $1000 yearly academic allowance, expenses to attend yearly conferences, and a 12-week research practicum. In addition to graduate students in their first and second year, the program is also open to senior undergraduates. Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Bridge to the Doctorate (BD) Programs are focused on providing post-baccalaureate fellowship support to LSAMP students, for the first two years of their STEM graduate studies, and providing the necessary academic and research skills that will enable them to successfully earn STEM doctoral degrees and transition into the STEM workforce.
