ENGR 120 (Freshman Engineering-I) - Module-1 Introduction
Additive Manufacturing Security & Security Framework
This module will provide students with the knowledge of Additive Manufacturing (AM) applications and their importance in engineering. The module will discuss the security issue through the different steps of the AM process. On this page, we offer some videos that will help students understand the basics of the AM process, its applications, and its importance, and how to secure final prototypes while using the AM process.
The principle of Virtual Reality (VR) and its importance will be also explained in this Module. A project will be offered in this Module to help students understand all phases of the AM process. This Module will develop the thinking of students by understanding the possible risks from cyberattacks, threats, and their consequences on the Additive Manufacturing process.
