Wireless Network

The Southern University – Baton Rouge Wireless Network is available for all Southern University students, faculty and staff. Wireless access to the university's online resources is widely available across campus, including academic, residential and administrative buildings. Wireless is available in all Residential Dorms and Apartment suites and rooms. Each residents room has access to wireless and one Ethernet connection. Wireless coverage is also available in most outdoor areas. We are constantly increasing and enhancing the wireless coverage on campus. Connecting ANY unauthorized wireless device to the Southern University network is prohibited. See Wireless Policy.
