Wireless Coverage

 

The SU wireless network is available to all students, faculty and staff as well as registered guests. There is wireless coverage throughout the Southern University campus in the academic, administrative, residential and athletic areas.

The campus wireless network covers the interior of all classrooms, offices, libraries, residential rooms, and common areas. Wireless coverage is also available in outdoor areas including the Union courtyard, Mumford Stadium parking lot and the residential courtyard.

 

The wireless network is designed to be a mobility enabler, allowing students, faculty, and staff to connect their devices wirelessly most places on campus. It is our goal to cover all interior locations 100%. If you find areas that are lacking in coverage, please contact us. Also, if you have a good experience with the wireless network, please contact us as well. Positive feedback is very useful to us.
