Southern University has entered into an agreement with Baton Rouge Community College to facilitate transfer of BRCC students who want to earn a bachelor degree in computer science after completing their associate degree.

Last week in an article on Diversitycareers.com, four Southern University alumni were featured for their unique bond that started at SU and carried with them through graduate school, earning their doctorate and even into their successful careers. Justin Boone created a blog to help guide students who are thinking about graduate studies, “The Transition: From Undergraduate to Graduate School”

Southern University’s College of Education, Arts and Humanities will host a fall Teacher Job Fair, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sept. 17, in the F.G. Clark Activity Center.

Our students need you to give to the Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund and/or the “$100 for 100 years” effort. Both will help students get an education at SU. Click here for more information and to give.

The Southern University Museum of Art (SUMA) will celebrate its 13th-year anniversary with a three-part, "Meet the Artist Series," Wednesday, June 18 through Saturday, June 21.
