Brochures - You may pick up mathematics program brochures that are available in the main office, Room 344 of T. T. Allain. Course Syllabi - Syllabi for courses being offered during the current semester are available on the Course Syllabi webpage under UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAM.   A course syllabus is also available through department administrative assistants in the main office in T. T. Allain, room 344. However, students are provided with a course syllabus for the mathematics class in which they are enrolled by the professor at the beginning of the semester.   

Computer Labs - The main mathematics computer laboratory is a departmental facility provided for enhancement of students' progress through reinforcement of coursework with tutorial software, video presentations, course management/assessment tools, and graduate tutoring support.

Mathematics Computer/Tutorial Laboratory is located in  Room 306 with graduate students and faculty available for tutoring. This clinic provides free tutorial services for students taking mathematics courses. You may contact the main office (344 T. T. Allain) for additional information pertaining to computer//tutorial laboratory and its hours of operation.

 

Financial Aid -- The Department has a limited number of graduate assistantships that are available with nine month stipends. Students pay their regular tuition, but out-of-state fees are waived. Additional information may be obtained from the university financial aid office.Additional information may be obtained from the university financial aid office.

All 'scholars' are urged to access https://www.fastlane.nsf.gov/grfp/ for the National Science Foundation's Graduate Research Fellowship Program. Although high to very high Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores are criteria, research experience and results are all needed. APPLY! Check Mathematical Sciences site for deadlines.
