POLITICAL SCIENCE AND GEOGRAPHY FACULTY
Christopher Cottrell (M.A. Geography, State University of New York-Albany). Assistant Professor of Geography. Interests include Geographic Information Systems (GIS), database design, software development and application, remote sensing applications in environmental policy assessment, natural hazard planning, surface water management policy development and spatial distribution.
Revathi Hines (Ph.D. Political Science, Howard University). Professor of Political Science: Interests include public administration, public policy, and American government.
Melanie Johnson (Ph.D. Educational Leadership, Louisiana State University). Interests include American politics, African American politics, higher education governance, educational policy, and historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
Albert Samuels (Ph.D. Political Science, Louisiana State University) Chair and Professor of Political Science who specializes in American politics, black politics, public law, educational policy, and voting rights.
