Caitlin Simmons is a professor of English with a focus in multi-ethnic contemporary American literature. Originally from southern California, she earned her PhD at the University of Iowa, and is now a proud resident of Baton Rouge. She loves to brainstorm ideas with students, and considers herself a master of the introduction, though she’d love to help you with any part of the writing process (even conclusions). She has nearly ten years of experience in writing centers, so she’s ready for your most difficult challenges.
